Bath Avenue Counselling – An exciting development

Hello and welcome to the Bath Avenue Counselling blog. We are Eamonn Boland and Valerie Kilkenny, founders of the Bath Avenue Counselling Centre.

The first part of 2018 has been incredibly exciting for us as we amalgamated our individual practices to form the Bath Avenue Counselling Centre.

We have been involved in the industry for more than thirty years between us, and our delighted to bring our training and experience to this evolution.

It has been a long road, paved with exciting changes, stretching back to 2002. Life is busy enough for all of us, and it’s good to take a moment to see where we’ve come from. It gives us great pride to look back on the people that we have helped over the years, and to envisage further progression in the years to come.

Bath Avenue CounsellingWe were delighted to move into our new building on Bath Avenue this year. It was a challenging few months, adapting the premises for the specific needs of a counselling centre. It was crucial that we got the atmosphere right, that we provide a space that is welcoming, comfortable and discreet for our clients. Lights were moved, colour combinations were updated and chairs tested for comfort. We now feel that we have the rooms in fine condition and are very happy to be welcoming new clients and therapists into our fold. The addition of a conference and training room gives us great scope.

The next major step for us is our official launch taking place on April 19th 4pm to 6pm. We are delighted to be welcoming members of the public and various health professionals. The launch gives us a fantastic opportunity to showcase our services and our premises. There will be plenty of opportunity to speak with people, answer questions and find ways to provide support and solutions.

We look forward to seeing you on the launch day and online,

Eamonn Boland & Valerie Kilkenny
